Jay G. Harrod

I’ve worked in communications since 1996, to include work as a journalist, for state and federal government, as a private consultant, and for the world’s largest environmental non-profit organization.

Over the course of my career, I’ve developed a wide range of skills–from strategic comms planning and video and web production to media relations and writing of all sorts. I’ve supervised staff in several positions, and close collaboration–with my team and other colleagues as well as with partners from corporations, government, associations and other non-profits–has always been an underlying theme of my successes.
